Expert in climate change & its impact on the agricultural value chains in Lebanon/the Levantine region

Purpose of the Request:

WHH is looking for an expert in climate change & its impact on the agricultural value chains in Lebanon/the Levantine region to deliver a webinar about this topic to WHH team, WHH partners working with us on agriculture related projects and to the wider interested audience.

Tasks & Details:

• To conduct a 90-minute webinar about the impact of the climate change on the agricultural value chains within the Lebanese Context
• Suggested date: Between 24 & 31 May 2023
• The webinar should present:

• The general effects of climate change in Lebanon/the Levantine region in general
• The impact of the climate change on the agricultural value chains in Lebanon with figures and scientific data
• Possible future scenarios for the agriculture in Lebanon and mitigation measures
• Suggested structure (To be validated by expert): 60 min presentation & 30 min Q&A

• Presentation should be delivered in Arabic language, presentation slides can be in English or Arabic
• To provide a copy of the presentation to WHH in ppt or pdf format
• Webinar will take place on MS Teams and the invitation of participants will be organized by the WHH team
