Graphic Design Intern

FDCD is looking for a graphic design intern experienced in social media templates and stationary design, to join the team for 3 months; 2 days/week. It is to note that the time is flexible and negotiable. 

The intern will develop social media templates according to FDCD branding guidelines, elements and colors and will design stationary for the organization. The intern will analyze the social media designs and will advise on how to move forward. 

Responsibilities

1. Evaluate current social media templates.
2. Assist in categorizing social media posts: quotes; impact stories; video covers, etc.
3. Design new social media templates (modern; visually appealing; people centered) using the organization’s branding guidelines. 
4. Design stationary for the organization.
5. Develop a strategy to move forward with the designs.

Skills

1. Understanding of the humanitarian context
2. Strong ability to listen and communicate during the pre-design process
3. Strong experience in Illustrator, Photoshop and Canva.
4. Flexibility and ability to understand and amend designs according to comments and feedback.
