The Polish Center for International Aid (PCPM) with the funding from the World Food Program is in the process of implementing a humanitarian project in the Akkar governorate. The Project will contribute to the Livelihoods improvement of the most vulnerable communities affected by the economic crisis in Lebanon. The main expected output of the project aims at sustainably improving the resilience and wellbeing of individuals, communities and systems that are currently suffering due to the economic crises. This will be achieved through the improved access to water to enhance livelihoods through agricultural activities and increased sales of Lebanese food products.
Background Specific for the Assignment
The Expert will support the preparation of technical documents for the construction of irrigation canals and agricultural roads in 2 sites (Jord El Qaitaa: Fnaidek and Hweish) where PCPM is implementing its activities in partnership with the WFP.
