Classroom observer

Duties and
responsibilities:

The Classroom Observer is responsible for:

•                
Monitoring all teaching
programs in the school.

•                
Conducting classroom
observations for all teachers in the school

•                
Identifying areas of
improvement and providing coaching and support to teachers

•                
Conducting walkthroughs to
ensure the flow of lessons

•                
Coaching and assisting
teachers in their implementation and work together towards improving quality of
learning and teaching to help learners become independent learners.

•                
Facilitating competency
building workshops for teachers

•                
Compile weekly successes
and challenges and report to Project Managers

•                
Compile and report data
from classroom observations

•                
Perform other duties that
may be necessary to maintain the quality and success of the project.

Profile
Requirements:

•                
At least 2 years of
experience working in Formal and/or Non-formal Education

•                
Preferably experience in
coaching teachers and/or teacher training

•                
Preferably previous
experience working with children/refugees/vulnerable populations.
