VIDEOGRAPHER SHORT PERIOD

Ruwad Al-Houkouk submitted in July 2021 a law proposal on Civil Events Registration that would modernize the civil registration regulations and mechanism and that allow for universal birth registration system, including stateless persons.

The rationale of the propose law is manifolds. Among them is to ensure the automatic birth registration of all. Today, there are in Lebanon thousands of stateless children due subjective or objective reasons for the non-registration of their parent’s marriages.... This lead to the invisibility of these individuals due to the lack of proper and adequate legal protection framework. 

Ruwad alHoukouk is seeking the services of a videographer specialized in capturing short individual testimonies.  Our project aims to collect and document personal stories to create a powerful and impactful video series, and to capture calls for action by influencers who have a strong influence on the audience to support the need to reform the current law.

SCOPE OF WORK:

• Conduct 13 2-min video interviews with individuals, capturing their personal testimonies and stories. The produced videos will be interview style with no artistic effects.
• Edit and produce final videos, including post-production tasks: video editing, color correction, audio enhancement, and adding subtitles.
• Ensure high-quality video and audio recording, with proper lighting and framing.
• Collaborate with the project team to develop interview questions and create a comfortable environment for interviewees.

PROJECT DURATION:

• 1 month, starting 26 June 2023.
• The videographer shall submit all deliverables (following milestones agreed upon with the organization) within 30 days from contract date.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in videography, with a portfolio showcasing previous work in capturing interviews, testimonials, or personal stories.
• Proficiency in using professional video equipment and editing software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create a welcoming and supportive environment for interviewees.
• Ability to deal with sensitive cases and confidential information.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for capturing visually compelling footage.
• Access to professional video, audio and post production equipment.
