Videographer

Responsibilities/ Duties:

Focus on doing projects/videos that help promote the events or activities linked to the organizations. Can also include video campaigns focused on an organization and public space.

Support and create visibility for the events and activities of the organizations.

Develop overall concept, storyboard, script; casting of locations/actors.

Work with the Project Manager and the Communication and Visibility Officer on planning the shooting of the activities/meetings 

Capture the activities and participants’ stories using the best equipment possible.

Ensure timely shooting, editing, and delivery of the documentary by coordinating with the Project Manager and the Communication and Visibility Officer.

Provide insights on the best practices in videography.

Coordinate all facets of video production including brainstorming of ideas, planning, synopsis, production, and post-production editing.

Update the project team regularly on the work progress including any challenges and/or recommendations.

Produce short video interviews/ success stories for social media and websites.

Communicate with the communication department about all activities.

Perform related duties and responsibilities as required by your direct supervisor.

Be available to attend meetings and workshops related to marketing of specific public spaces.

Regular feedback-loops and inputs 

Integration of subtitles developed in close coordination  for all verbal and written text mentioned in the videos

Requirements:

At least 4 years of experience in video production, cinematography, audiovisual design, or similar fields.

University degree or at least 3-5 years of relevant field experience in a similar position.

Access to all video equipment and software, including a drone camera for aerial shots and any permissions required to use the drone in Lebanon

Proficiency in English and Arabic both oral and written.

Time management and organizational skills.

Ability to create visuals and communication material in an innovative and creative way.

Experience in making short films for events and activities.

Experience in the NGO sector is a plus.
