- Job Title: Youth Coordinator
Duty Station/Location: Burj el Barajneh (Beirut)
Working Days: 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday) from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm
Project Duration: 11 months (Extendable)
Duties:
- Leads and monitors youth activities implemented at the organization including workshops, vocational trainings, campaigns, community events and youth-led initiatives among other youth support related activities.
- Coordinates and monitors the implementation of workshops to ensure consistency of methodology and objectives.
- Delivers Employability and entrepreneurship training and/or Technology-based training to youth.
- Supports the assessment of the impact of youth activities on beneficiaries.
- Ensures the activities targets of beneficiaries are met on time.
- Reports to Youth Support Programme Coordinator on activities progress and outcomes as well as pre-assessments and post assessments.
- Ensures the activities are well documented in terms of visibility, reporting, pre and post-assessments, attendance sheets and other related documents.
- Builds volunteers capacities and supervises them to work on project-related activities.
- Represents the organization in related events.
- Coordination and follow up visits to UNRWA schools, Community and community-based organizations.
- Liaise with finance and administration department to support the successful implementation of the project.
- To pursue continuous professional development, in order to keep up with the latest methodologies that enhance work progress.
- Ensure a strict adherence to Child Protection Policy (including respect for confidentiality, and adopting a child-centered approach).
- Performs other job-related tasks as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in computer science, MIS, IT, Business Administration, or other related fields.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as programmer or IT or related field
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in vocational training, or coordination of youth activities or a technology-related field.
- Previous experience in working with NGOs.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Up-to-date with new technology trends.
- Understanding of the context of Palestinian refugees, especially in terms of employment
- Proficient in English and Arabic
- Salary Range: 700 $ per month
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Arabic is required

- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Has a character and profile that is able to lead a team, and inspire and motivate youth.
- Ability to deliver information to different age groups.
- Excellent team player.
- Able to work under stress.
