FIELD OFFICER – Deir El Ahmar

In order to develop the agricultural sector in Deir El Ahmar, FTL aims to build the capacity of agricultural workers and members of agricultural cooperatives, through a training approach on various topics focusing on agricultural techniques and business development.

FTL is looking for a Field officer in the Bekaa region (Deir El Ahmar) to facilitate the agricultural work process and trainings provided by the trainers appointed by FTL.

Deliverables:

• Conduct in-person training sessions.
• Maintain an up-to-date training breakdown and trainer availability table.
• Provide accurate and timely reports.
• Manage and monitor labour-intensive activities in agriculture.
• Collect necessary financial, social and personal information.
• Communicate with trainers prior to training sessions.
• Document and update support documents.
• Maintain a high level of communication with the project coordinator.
• Report on tasks and activities after implementation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Agriculture, Environment, or any related field
• 1 year of relevant experience in agricultural practices.
• Experience in Microsoft Teams, Word and Excel
• Proven knowledge of Fair Trade principles
• Organizational and focused
• Ability to communicate with vulnerable communities
• Drives results
