Invitation to Bid: Fabrication & purchasing of (Jackets, scarves, beanies, socks & blankets)

1 – Ruwwad Al Tanmeya Organization Overview

Ruwwad Al-Tanmeya is a regional non-profit community development organization that works with disenfranchised communities through education, youth volunteerism and grassroots organizing. Our approach encompasses an array of programs and projects that, together, strengthen initiative and facilitate redress to problems prioritized by members of the community. Three main programs anchor Ruwwad: Child Development, Youth Organizing and Community Support. Three basic values shape every program or activity at Ruwwad Al-Tanmeya: secularism, diversity, and equity.

2 – CDCS-Rapid Response Distribution of Winterization Kits Project Objectives

The purpose of the project is to improve the health and wellbeing of vulnerable population of Bab Al Tebbeneh, Jabal Mohsen and Qobbeh by ensuring that they are protected against winter’s cold, relieving them of the financial burden of purchasing winter items, and injecting some funds into the local economy of which they will benefit.

3 – Operational Objective:

Ruwwad is looking for apparel and blankets factories from Tripoli which are able to fabric/provide the following:

• 359 Jackets (Ruwwad has a sample of the requested jackets)
• 359 Scarves (Suppliers have to provide us with a sample)
• 359 Beanies (Suppliers have to provide us with a sample)
• 359 Blankets (Suppliers have to provide us with a sample)
• 359 Socks (Pair) (Suppliers have to provide us with a sample)

The requested items above should be as Ruwwad’ s sample.

You will find attached an Excel sheet (Request for quotation) including the requested items plus the specifications & the quantity needed of each.

4 – The quotation must include:

• Same requested specification
• The number of the registration in the ministry of finance (if existing)
• Same names of items mentioned in the attachment “Request for quotation”
• Delivery period
• VAT in LBP (if existing)
• Prices in USD
• Payment Terms

5 – Bidders must send:

All Bidders are required to send the below requirements to the procurement officer, Mr. Omar Shammo through this email omar.shammo@ruwwadaltanmeya.org copying reem@ruwwadaltanmeya.org .

• The quotation should be (signed/Stamped).
• The Request for quotation should be sent (signed & stamped).
• Certificate of the registration in the ministry of finance (الشهاد المالية).
• References (similar executed type of work).
• The invitation for bid should be sent (singed & stamped).

6 – Payment Terms:

• Fresh Dollar Cash or bank transfer.

7 – Questions/ Request for clarification

8 – Timeframe

• Quotations and the requested papers should be submitted 10 days after the day of posting this tender.
• Items are to be delivered within 10 days directly after signing the contract.

9 – Important

Kindly note that the quotation will be automatically rejected if

• The bidder doesn’t send all the requested papers (mentioned in number 5).
• The quotation doesn’t include the requirements (mentioned in number 4).
• The quotation is received after the deadline.

Suppliers have to send a sample of each item before reaching the bidders selection phase

Score will be divided with 70% based on the price and 30% based on other conditions (Official documents, delivery period, payment terms...).
