Call for service provider – Transdairy Co-patent Development Voucher

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.

Berytech, in the context of TRANSDAIRY, an EU-funded project under the ENI CBC Med program, has launched the call for legal consultants, law firms, and independent lawyers specialized in IP.

The service provider will work closely for 3 months with the TRANSDAIRY the co-patent voucher beneficiary to:

• Conduct a patent assessment.
• Help identify the patent assets and benefits.
• Help identify the patent rights.
• Develop an action plan to register the patent in Lebanon and help facilitate the interaction with designated parties.
• Finalize the registration of the patent in Lebanon if time allocation allows it.

• The selected service provider will be responsible for securing the above-mentioned services.
• The service provider should be willing to interact with the project partnership and to participate in teleconference meetings if required for the development of the proposed services.
• The service provider can recruit experts with specific expertise to assist the beneficiaries based on the needs assessment.
• The service provider should be a lawyer, expert, consultant with knowledge of the Lebanese laws, patent registration procedures in Lebanon.

The services must be completed by 15/09/2023.

The service provider is asked to share with Berytech clear deliverables expected for validation.

• Applications to this proposal can be from legal entities, law firms, independent lawyers, experts/consultants in law and patenting.

The service provider will be selected based on:

• The proposal and methodology suggested and fit for the program’s objective.
• Their bio, proven track records and experience in the field required.
