1. Objective

The main objective of the project is to support agricultural cooperatives in Deir El Ahmar by reducing operational costs, providing labor, equipment and training to ensure the sustainability of member farmers and their ability to navigate difficult economic situations, ultimately improving the agricultural sector in the region.

FTL aims to give cash for work to a minimum of 150 vulnerable workers engaged in labor-intensive activities, supporting cooperative members in farming practices.

FTL will be providing the workers with the need agricultural tools.

Requirements & conditions

• FTL will pay the VAT in LBP based on the official exchange rate approved by the government on the invoice date.
• The service provider must deliver all the items to Deir El Ahmar

3. Evaluation

• The bidder’s evaluation process will consider following with assigned weights:

4. Payment Terms

• Payments will be made only through bank transfer or bank cheques
• The price will be paid in USD while the VAT will be paid in LBP based on the official exchange rate on the date of the invoice.
• The vendor should have a fresh USD bank account.
