center supervisor

The purpose of this position is to supervise staff in the centers as applicable. To oversee the implementation of the activities while ensuring that quality and standards are applicable. Furthermore, the center supervisor will have to ensure that there is smooth coordination between the Al Hadatha Association and the center regarding the implementation of education programs.

Scope of Work:

  • Supervise and coordinate the staffs’ (teachers, animators, and volunteers) at the center level.
  • Monitor time, attendance and leave request for completeness and accuracy of supervised employees. Confer with staff as needed, regarding regular and punctual attendance.
  • Establish and maintain work schedules that meet program goals and objectives
  • Work with the Education Field Coordinator to design a timetable of activities in the classes, as well as develop a plan for monitoring the quality and impact of those activities.
  • Coordinate with field coordinator and volunteers.
  • Support the Education Field coordinator to train center workers on relevant topics (i.e. training teachers on educational curriculum…). The center supervisor should regularly identify trainings needed by and inform the Education Coordinator of these needs.
  • Collect the logistic needs of the centers and act accordingly to ensure the center is fully equipped and meets the needs of the program (make procurement requests, check stock, support the delivery of goods to the center etc.)
  • Coordinate the daily provision of snacks for children.
  • Organize regular meetings with the center staff in order to ensure the correct implementation of the program according to the working plan. Work together with the staff to regularly review and update the work plan, when needed.
  • Provide the Education Field Coordinator and Program Manager with regular activity and monitoring reports.
  • Be responsible for collecting all beneficiary data (registration forms, attendance forms, progress forms etc.) and sharing it with the management on a monthly basis.

  • Spoken and written good in English and Arabic.
  • Good writing skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Capacity to work in team and flexibility to take on new tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Dynamic leader with creative problem-solving skills, particularly in challenging situations.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
