Communication\ Advocacy Consultant

MAAN aims to bridge inequalities within Lebanon through the promotion of a culture of citizen accountability, the production of qualitative and quantitative evidence-based research, and advocacy for stronger institutions of social protection. With this, MAAN aims to reform socio-economic policy through a rights-based approach and acting as a catalyst between grassroots groups and policy makers.

MAAN is looking for Communication consultant to design and strategize the communication stratgies of MAAN and the existing projects. 

COMMUNICATION CONSULTANT

DESCRIPTION: 

• Collaborate with the teams to develop and strategize effective communication and social media strategies based on the organization strategy and existing projects.
• Initiate, monitor, and upgrade the organization's website communication content to ensure that the website aligns with branding strategy and meets the organization's standards.
• Initiate, write, and design communication materials including videos, pamphlets, visuals, audio, animation, newsletters, project brochures, press releases, newsletter, banners and multimedia assets needed to support the organization's existing projects.
• Plan, draft templates, edit, and design publications on social media, annual reports, visibility items and other marketing material that communicates the organization's activities.
• Advice on the media and visibility items for purchasing.
• Advice on the utmost approach to maintain relevant project communication and media data.
• Support on capacitating communication intern and supervising him/her during the consultancy period. 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or related field.

• Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in outreach, communications role.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

• Good time management and organizational skills.
