Business Management Lecturer

about the Job:

Human Aid and Development (HAND) is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Business Management Lecturer for our Pearson-accredited Higher Nationals Diploma Program in Business. This key educational role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned academic professional, well-versed in business management. In this role, the lecturer will develop and implement a robust curriculum delivery plan, facilitate effective learning, and conduct meaningful assessments in accordance with Pearson's standards

Job Location: Bar Elias – Beqaa

Job Offer: you can choose to be

• Full time job:   5 days a week from (9 am – 6 pm)             Salary 1800-2000 $
• Part time job:  1 or 2 days a week (3 hours per lecture)   Salary 30$ per hour

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute the curriculum delivery plan.
2. Contribute to target setting within the curriculum area and strive for their accomplishment.
3. Comprehend and apply program specifications and unit requirements.
4. Present units effectively using visual/audio aids to facilitate learning.
5. Monitor and record student progress accurately.
6. Fully implement the designated curriculum in a timely manner.
7. Supervise specific practical activities to be completed by students.
8. Design, assign, and grade assignments in line with unit objectives.
9. Assist learners in their assignments and in using reference materials.
10. Create an assessment and verification plan ensuring complete coverage of required units.
11. Develop assessment activities that guide learners to provide adequate evidence.
12. Attend and participate actively in required training and meetings.
13. Provide summative assessments of learner's work, verifying authenticity and sufficiency of evidence.
14. Coordinate with the program leader to ensure assessments comply with Pearson’s requirements.
15. Abide by and enforce HAND’s rules, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Minimum of a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Business Management.
2. At least 7 years of teaching experience in a related field (University, Institute, etc).
3. Proficiency in English.
4. Experience with Microsoft Office, emails, and online education platforms.
5. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
6. Strong teaching skills and excellent networking skills.
7. Leadership skills and patience to work with learners of all ages.
8. Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
