The Consultant is expected to fulfill the following in addition to any other task required:
- Brand Assessment and Research:
- Conduct a thorough assessment of the company's current branding and market research to understand the target audience and competitors.
- Analyze consumer preferences and trends related to apple and orange flavors.
- Branding Strategy Development:
- Develop a comprehensive branding strategy for the new apple and orange flavors product line.
- Define brand positioning, value proposition, and key messages to differentiate the products in the market.
- Brand Name and Logo Design:
- Propose brand names for the new apple and orange flavors that resonate with the target audience and align with the brand positioning.
- Create new logo designs that visually represent the essence of the products and evoke the desired emotions.
- Packaging and Design Concept:
- Design packaging concepts for the apple and orange chips, considering the brand identity and product attributes.
- Ensure the packaging communicates the unique selling points and attracts consumer attention on the shelves.
- Marketing Collateral and Communication Materials:
- Develop marketing collateral and communication materials, such as product brochures, flyers, and digital assets, to support the product launch.
- Brand Guidelines and Implementation Plan:
- Establish brand guidelines to ensure consistency in brand identity across various touchpoints.
- Provide an implementation plan for the new branding across the production line, marketing materials, and online platforms.
Deliverables:
- Branding Strategy Document:
- A comprehensive document outlining the branding strategy for the new apple and orange flavors product line.
- Brand Name and Logo Designs:
- Brand name options and logo designs for the company's consideration and selection.
- Packaging and Design Concepts:
- Design concepts for the apple and orange chips packaging, showcasing different visual options.
- Marketing Collateral and Communication Materials:
- Prepared marketing collateral and communication materials to support the product launch.
- Brand Guidelines:
- A detailed document specifying brand guidelines and standards for consistent brand representation.
- Branding Implementation Plan:
- A plan detailing the step-by-step implementation of the new branding across various platforms.
The consultant will provide these deliverables within the specified intervention period after working closely with the company to create a compelling branding strategy and design for the new apple and orange flavors product line.
As part of the program’s Monitoring and Evaluation (ME&L) processes, the consultant is required to:
- Deliver a briefing report to the program’s team.
- Attending check-ins short meetings, if needed and required by the program’s team
- Attending MEL induction meeting before the beginning of the session if requested by the program’s team
- Conducting pre-post assessment, feedback and attendance as requested by the program team

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, MSc Degree Marketing, Brand Management, Graphic Design, Communication Design, and any other relevant field.
- At least 15 years of experience in similar projects.
- Excellent communications and report writing skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic
The selected Consultant is expected to start his/her activities at the soonest after selection; the exact timeline and effective working days are to be set based on both the company’s and the Consultant’s availability, not exceeding the end of November 2023. The total budget allocated for the intervention is within the range of USD 250/man-day.
Candidates should submit the following documents:
- Technical (maximum two pages) describing the methodology to conduct the work based on the content suggested in section: “Scope of Work, Outputs, and Deliverables” elaborating it further.
- Profile and project references (maximum two pages): A brief explanation of the consultant(s) background should be submitted (CVs shall be included as annex) along with project references on the topic.
- Financial Proposal describing the expected renumeration and the proposed timeline and Days of intervention.
