Expert Finance Administrator

Your responsibilities
•    Manage the project’s contractual agreement and ensure strong budget control in close cooperation with the Head of Project.
•    Ensure that activities and workplan are in synchronization with budget versus actual.
•    Review Partner reports and supporting documents.
•    Conduct regular Partner monitoring visits in Beirut, Baalbek-Hermel, Akkar, North, and/or Southern governorates.
•    Conduct training for partners on finance related requirement of WHH.
•    Identify partner capacity needs and gaps in the internal control weak areas and take required steps to fix those issues.
•    Monitor the projects spending and fund requirement to ensure enough cash in-country for the project expenses. 
•    Update the finance software with partner expenditure. 
•    Carry out financial administrative controls at project level.
•    Participate in new proposal development and review budget allocation and cost imputation.
•    Ensure that the project’s financial administrative processes at the project location are auditable and efficient.
•    Submit monthly financial and cost control report for each project, supporting the Head of Project with the liquidity planning
•    Support the Head of Project prepare or revise the project / co-financing budget in terms of formal correctness.
•    prepare financial reports for grants and donors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with funding requirements.
•    Manage the project’s contractual agreement and ensure strong budget control in close cooperation with the Head of Project
•    Provide instructions and advisory to national administration staff under your supervision.
•    Instruct and support project partner organizations in Beirut, Baalbek-Hermel, Akkar, North, and/or Southern governorates in matters relating to financial management.
•    Any additional related tasks assigned by the supervisor

 

Required Qualifications/Credentials:
•    Education: A university degree or relevant training (e.g. in accounting or Finance)
•    Work Experience: five years of professional experience in the administration of co-financed projects for international NGO.
•    Skills/knowledge:
•    Excellent moderation skills, Coordination and organizational skills, even under high workload.
•    Readiness to travel to Baalbek-Hermel, Akkar, North, and/or Southern governorates
•    Advance Excel skills.

•    Social Skills; Excellent communication and intercultural
•    Language Skills: An excellent knowledge of English and Native Arabic language skills.
