NRC RFQ: Provision for Regenerative Design (Permaculture) Coaches Services in Lebanon REF: PR 8300833

TENDER PURPOSE: 

Lebanon faces critical challenges related to water scarcity and sustainable agriculture, particularly in rural areas. Small-scale farmers often struggle with water failing conventional quality and access issues that impact productivity and the environment. In response to these challenges, NRC (Norwegian Refugee Council) is seeking a Regenerative Design Coaches to train and coach farmers in rainwater harvesting techniques and watershed management, with a focus on regenerative design principles, and facilitate the implementation of communally identified solutions.

ELIGIBILITY:

Eligible bidders are Regenerative Design Coaches with the following qualifications:

• A background in regenerative design, sustainable agriculture, environmental engineering/architecture, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in small-scale rainwater harvesting and soil conservation techniques and their application in agricultural contexts with a strong emphasis on regenerative design.
• Proven experience in regenerative design education, training, and coaching small-scale farmers.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
• Proficiency in Arabic is necessary, English is a plus.
