AEP is a non-profit organization founded in 1984, by a group of bankers and businessmen who were interested in social work. AEP believes in the human being without any discrimination in sex, race, opinion, religion or social class.

AEP is one of the pioneers in the field of micro credit finance. It gives access to those who cannot afford bank regulations and complications. AEP believes that everyone has the right to get a loan. This is clearly revealed in the mission of the association:  "Beyond assistance…. the right to economic initiative…the right to loan for everyone."

AEP aims to encourage people with small fruitful projects, either individual, collective or cooperative, to contribute in the social and economic development.

AEP provides its beneficiaries assistance & support enabling them to carry out their projects and to lead them to the success.

As a microfinance NGO, our broader objective is to create sustainable economic growth and reduce poverty by providing access to financial services to underserved communities, especially women and marginalized groups:

1. Empowering women entrepreneurs through microloans and business training to enable them to become financially independent and support their families.
2. Providing start-up loans and technical assistance to unemployed youth to start their own businesses and help stimulate local economies.
3. Collaborating with local partners to promote financial literacy and improve access to financial services such as savings accounts, insurance, and credit.
4. Encouraging sustainable agriculture practices and supporting smallholder farmers through affordable credit and training programs, ultimately enhancing food security and eradicating poverty in rural areas.
5. Promoting environmentally friendly and sustainable business practices among our clients to help mitigate the effects of climate change and build more resilient communities.
