RS Facilitator

Major Responsibilities:

• Creating positive learning environment
• Organize and deliver courses.
• Teaching according to the curriculum, achievements and the abilities of individual students.
• Plan, develop and implement learning plans for special needs students
• Assign, work, correct and mark work carried out by students
• Modify and adapt conventional educational programs to meet the requirements of students with special needs
• Prepare students with special needs for inclusion and transition to mainstream
• Maintain classroom organization and discipline.
• Go to week after week staff gatherings to address special circumstances or issues with individual students
• Prepare classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, and handouts
• Participate in ongoing training sessions
• Work with program coordinators to ensure initiatives are being met
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
• Perform any other related tasks
• To abide by all the coordination, preparation, training’s hours emanating by the representative of the association held outside normal working sessions mentioned in the teaching schedule

ACADEMIC EDUCATION                                                                                               

Bachelor Degree in Education and/or the appropriate field

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

• Two years of experience in teaching
• Experience in dealing with children with special needs
• Proven effective classroom and student behavior management skills
• Knowledge of current special education practices
• knowledge and implementation of relevant technology

Skills

• Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic.
• Good writing skills.
• Capacity to work in team and flexibility to take on new tasks.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Computer Skills specially Microsoft Excel is a must

Others

• Able to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different cultural backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to-detail.
• Knowledge of contextual diversity of various areas of North, Lebanon.
