Mission:
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Risk Education (RE) Team Leader is responsible for implementing, monitoring and reporting RE awareness activities conducted by the EORE team to help promote safe behaviours to reduce risks posed by Explosive Ordnance (EO) in the area of intervention.
Location: South of Lebanon (Saida - Nabatiyeh)

Responsibilities
Responsibility 1 - Risk Education: In charge of the RE activity planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting.
Activities:
- Participate to the planning process of the RE component under the supervision of the PM/Chief of Ops and to its regular review.
- Produce weekly and monthly action/work plan based on project planning and report/update on achievements done during weekly team meetings.
- Responsible for sending weekly RE planning to PM to be sent to LMAC.
- In charge of daily EO RE submissions via IMSMA Core via Survey 123.
- Contribute to and participate in Project Quarterly Reviews.
- Contribute to finalizing Information, Education and Communication “IEC” materials under the supervision of the PM.
- Contribute to the RE tools review with the M&E unit
- Ensure that community mobilizers are trained on and applying referral pathway according to HI safe identification and referral mechanism.
Responsibility 2 – Data Management and Reporting: In charge of data entry, collection, management and reporting.
Activities:
- Collect all the missing information (Conduct’s phone calls etc.)
- In charge of the data entry for relevant tools.
- Ensure data collected is accurate, complete and consistent
- Range all the open files in order and respect confidentiality
- Participate in the different activities that are common to all team members and work in harmonic coordination.
- Timely inform your line manager of your weekly needs and produce the related documentation
- Produce weekly and monthly reports for all field activities
- Contribute to the tools development/enhancement and work closely with the MEAL unit.
- Contribute to the data analysis and work closely with the MEAL unit.
- Close qualitative follow-up on tools and IEC materials development with relevant staff.
- Ensure internal standards and guidelines are respected
- Fill with precision the internal reporting tools and any other tasks to be made upon line manager request
Responsibility 3 – Visibility and Safety: Contribute to increasing the organization’s acceptance and staff safety in the area of intervention.
Activities:
- Actively participate in local working groups and coordination meetings as instructed by the line manager.
- Conduct regular visits to local authorities (mayors, mokhtars, community leaders etc.) to update on HI’s intervention and obtain necessary approvals, subject to the line manager’s approval.
- Regular coordination with Humanitarian Actors who are present in the area.
- Fill with precision the daily movement plan according to the shared weekly workplan.
- Report necessary incidents which may affect project activities or field visits to the security focal point.
- Proactively and regularly report the context challenges to the line manage/security focal point.
Responsibility 4: Team Management:
Activities:
- Manage the team of Community mobilizers and organize their working plan
- Continuously working with the team to promote their independence in their responsibilities
- Setting individual action plan and reviewing it at the end of the year
- Identifying and implementing training plan for the staff as approved by the training committee
- Setting up daily internal and external communication and coordination mechanism
- Monitoring leaves, probationary period, end of contract of the staff
Confidentiality is required in all these responsibilities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- University Degree in the field of expertise of the project or/and equivalent working experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the related field preferably with NGO. Social work experiences with persons with disabilities on their education and/or rehabilitation issues would be an asset.
- A certified Mine Risk Education Activity by LMAC would be an asset.
- Demonstrate good understanding of social issues.
- Understanding of a comprehensive approach on disability and vulnerability.
- Proven coordination skills to work with a diverse network of actors, including the public authorities, in a diplomatic manner.
- Good report writing skills.
- Demonstrated effective communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to relate to the target group (be approachable, shows empathy).
- Ability to propose workable solutions and identify their implications (positive and negative) adapted to beneficiaries’ needs.
- English and Arabic mandatory (oral and written).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, especially Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills to manage a number of referral cases timely and accurately.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and in a multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Ability to work under high pressure with a great level of personal organization.
- Diplomacy sense, flexibility, team management and spirit

Basic salary for the position: The EORE Team Leader going to be paid according to the experience and to HI salary Grid.
Basic Salary: Starting 1070 USD.
