Material for Farmers

1. Objective

The main objective of AFDAL III project is to improve the resilience of individuals, households, communities, and systems in the face of economic and climatic shocks and stressors affecting the food security, nutrition, and well-being of Lebanese and displaced women and men in vulnerable areas.

The main purpose for this purchase is to provide in-kind support for the beneficiaries participating in the trainings given under AFDAL III phase 2.

3. Company qualification

The vendor must have a valid permit from all relevant ministries.

• Commercial Circular
• Fiscal Certificate of Incorporation at the Ministry of Finance
• VAT Certificate of Registration if applicable
• ID of company’s authorized representative(s)

4. Requirements & conditions

• FTL will pay the VAT in LBP based on the official exchange rate approved by the government on the invoice date.
• The supplier should be able to provide all of the mentioned items.
• The service provider must deliver all the items to Rmah (25), Machta Hammoud (25) and Majdala (26).

5. Evaluation

• The bidder’s evaluation process will consider the following with assigned weights:

6. Payment Terms

• Payments will be made only through bank transfer or bank cheques
• The price will be paid in USD while the VAT will be paid in LBP based on the official exchange rate on the date of the invoice.
• Payment will be made within 15 business days of invoice receipt.
