Sales Strategies – REAF Program

Context & Background

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.

The Rural Entrepreneurs in Agri-Food (REAF) program aims at strengthening the business and product viability of innovative startups tackling sustainable rural economic development operating in South Mount Lebanon, Central and West Bekaa. The program will provide the startups with the tools to transform their ideas into sustainable and profitable businesses. REAF’s youth training will enhance their entrepreneurship mentality and entry into the job market.

The Accelerator Program's mission is to nurture and grow disruptive ideas, proof of concepts, and prototypes that share three common characteristics:

  1. A disruptive scientific or technological focus in agri-food, eco-tourism, circular economy, and sustainable agriculture.
  2. The possibility to scale in the local market and beyond that.
  3. The potential to create sustainable job opportunities locally.
Scope of work

The REAF Program seeks a Customer Discovery and Experimentation Trainer to deliver the following requirements:

• Provide the 8 startups with a workshop and 16 1-on-1 clinics on developing effective sales strategies and techniques.

• Teach the startups how to identify target markets, tailor their value propositions, and create compelling sales messages.

• Guide the startups in designing sales funnels and customer journey maps to optimize the sales process.

• Assist the startups in understanding sales metrics and data-driven decision-making to improve sales performance.
 

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in developing successful sales strategies and achieving sales targets for startups or early-stage businesses. No less than 7 years.

• Ability to lead workshops with multidisciplinary teams and support everyone’s style and growth.

• Strong business acumen across various areas, including Sales Management, Market Analysis, Start-ups, Marketing (Product or Brand), Organizational Behavior, Operations, Finance, and Design.

• Experience working with early-stage startups.

• Excellent communication skills.

expected Deliverables
  • Deliver a full day workshop on Sales Strategies to the 8 REAF startups.

• Deliver 16 1-on-1 clinics to the 8 startups, with the distribution of hours to be identified.

• Assist startups in developing comprehensive sales strategies, sales funnels, and customer journey maps to enhance sales performance.

• Provide the Berytech team with a written report on the progress and status of every startup.
