Outreach Officer

LOST is seeking to recruit an Outreach Officer in Baalbeck .

The main tasks to be completed by the Outreach Officer include but are not limited to:

• Provision of a clear outreach strategy inclusive of all LOST’s services.
• Development of a Proper guidance note to be delivered to the field team conducting outreach activities.
• Provision of a practical and user-friendly method to enable the field team to address challenges encountered in the field and resource mobilization approaches.
• Provision of one one-on-one support to the outreach field team members in conducting outreach activities
•  Development of outreach forms
• Adhere to LEBANESE ORGANIZATION FOR STUDIES AND TRAINING - LOST Code of Conduct and other policies regarding confidentiality and do no harm.
• Distribution of needed materials from the stock before and during the implementation phase
• Follow up on the dropout lists
• Conduct field visits to the participants and meet their parents to discuss with them the project goals
• Collect data from the outreach team, process them, and give his report to the project manager, and feedback to the team

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Sociology, Social Science or any other related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in the education field.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with team members.

Ability to show a positive and collaborative approach toward diversity.

Flexibility and ability to deal with cultural differences.

Fluency in English and Arabic.
