Facilitator - Beirut

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1- To welcome women and girls with disabilities to the LUPD center.

2-Carry out follow-up meetings with women and girls with disabilities or their relatives to introduce the project objectives and activities. 

3-Collaborate in the dissemination of information for women and girls with disabilities on the rights of persons with disabilities, including access to public humanitarian programs.

4- Identification of Women and girls with disabilities.

5-Attend all training and learning sessions that will be provided within the project.

6-Record meetings, activities, and projects through minutes and reports.

7-Facilitation sessions of curriculums that will be provided to women and girls with disabilities.

8-Regular coordination and follow-ups with the social worker

9-Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

1- Bachelor Social Work, Public Health, Human Rights or other related field.

2- 2-3 years professional experience in community-based Protection or disability programs.

3- Basic understanding of gender, human rights, and issues surrounding violence against women and girls.

4- Initiative, capacity to organize and meet deadlines.

5- Ability to work in teams, openness to respond positively to different points of view and criticisms regarding their individual performance, as well as make necessary adjustments.

6- Experience in the context of emergencies is desirable.

7- Knowledge of concepts and main debates related to issues of rights, gender equality and adolescence and youth is desirable.

8- Fluent in Arabic and very good knowledge of English.

9- Good computer skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
