Field coordinator

Background:

Al Hadatha Association is a national NGO established in 13/03/2006 and registered at MOI under number 87/A.D to support the roles of various community segments by developing their capabilities, and reduce economic vulnerability by promoting their skills, and facilitating community access to social, humanitarian, and development work.

For its project “Strengthening the Resilience and Coping Capacities of Vulnerable Rural Population in North and East Lebanon” Funded by (WHH) implemented by Al Hadatha Organization.   in [North & Baalbek - Hermel], funded by the [BMZ], HADATHA Association is aiming from this Tender to solicit competitive offers for “Field Coordinator”

 

DESCRIPTION: 

The Project Coordinator works with a team at Al Hadatha Association.

In collaboration with the Program Manager, supporting staff, and others, the PC will execute the provided work plan, track progress, and report on it, monitor field requirements and handle other project logistics. The PC will ensure quality control, deadlines, scheduling projects activities, follow-up and amendments to stressing needs of situations, and reporting to the program manager timely.

The PC will ensure that all required documents are ready for the program manager to compile and validate before they are submitted on time

Duties and responsibilities

Assist the Program Manager in planning and execution of the project, including preparing the work plan, progress, attendance, and project-related documents as evidence of task completion.

  • Outreach beneficiaries (Trainings- Round Table Discussions-Community initiatives)
  • Conducts introductory & coordination meeting
  • Organizes trainings
  • Collaborate with local partners and NGOs involved in the project.
  • Contributes in the reports development
  • Organizes and executes all activities related to project and assigned by PM
  • Reports to PM all findings & challenges faced on the operational level
  • Attends team meetings
  • Plan for Round table discussions
  • Support and follow up on community initiatives, contributing to planning and implementation.
  • Provide assistance to community-led projects.
  • Planning and preparing of logistical aspects for project activities, encompassing the execution of pre and post-tests for pertinent project activities, evaluation processes, and attendance tracking.

Qualifications:

The Consultant should fulfil the following requirements:

Experience:

  • 5 years+ of experience.
  • Familiarity and experience required with peace building , community initiatives
  • Strong experience required with conflict management.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to work independently and productively, with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced  environment.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Skills in analyzing, interpreting and synthesizing information;
  • Skilled in implementing of community initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills
