Position Overview

The Hariri Foundation is currently seeking a skilled and innovative Full Stack (& AI Solutions) Engineer to join its dynamic team. The Full Stack (& AI Solutions) Engineer will play a pivotal role in the Hariri Foundation's efforts to leverage AI and ML technologies. This role involves conducting research and development in AI/ML, supporting business intelligence initiatives, and overseeing the development of advanced websites and mobile applications. The Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions that align with the foundation's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Research and Development in AI/ML

• Hold and operate AI licenses and tools.
• Conduct technical and market research on AI/ML models, tools, and trends to inform foundation projects.
• Develop smart and automation tools for internal and public use across various projects in collaboration with the Research & Development office.
• Support the setup of technology upskilling training opportunities related to digital literacy and data analysis.
• Provide guidance on GPT prompt engineering.
• Advise on partnerships and topics for continuous learning and training opportunities in digital (and particularly AI/ML) areas.

2. Business Intelligence

• Assist in the installation of data management and collection systems across projects.
• Support the development of advanced data visualization models linked to backend databases.
• Support the establishment and integration of software and hardware in observatory settings.

3. Web/Mobile Development:

• Collaborate with technical experts to establish a development and operations strategies and brand images for online portals, including UX/UI and SOPs.
• Manage website backend and databases, including design, implementation, and operations.
• Oversee and report on development progress, coordinating with stakeholders and contractors.
• Support research teams in accessing and updating smart tools.
• Facilitate regular scrum meetings to monitor development progress.
• Collaborate with technical consultants for capacity building and knowledge transfer to HF personnel and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in full stack development, with skills in frontend and backend development, database management, and UI/UX design.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in AI and ML technologies, including proficiency in relevant tools and frameworks.
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills, including experience with data management and collection systems.
• Proven ability to oversee the development of complex software projects, including the coordination of technical experts and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with operating AI/ML and automation licenses and tools.
• Experience in providing technical training and capacity building.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
