Food, Security, and Livelihood Project Manager

Under the overall supervision of Head of Base / Deputy Operations Coordinator, lead the implementation of an assigned project with AAH and donor standards and regulations.

In collaboration with the FSL Programme Manager, contribute feeding data and information to develop strategies for ongoing and future interventions in Lebanon, supporting AAH Beirut Mission in its mandate.

Managing the diverse and big project team consisting of officers and supervisors. 

1. To ensure successful implementation of assigned projects according to AAH standards and protocols and in line with the humanitarian principles. (40 %)
2. Managing and coordinating the project team at a base level (30 %)
3. To contribute to the development and implementation of strategies and programming in the mission (15%).
4. To contribute to building the capacity of AAH and implementing partner staff according to the needs identified 10%
5. External representation (if required) 5%

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, nutrition, food security/ agriculture, social work, humanitarian action, international relations or any related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong background in project cycle management
• Strong background in team management
• At least 3 years of experience working in project management position in humanitarian and/or development organizations.
• Minimum 3 years of previous experience with Food Security and Livelihoods project implementation
