Communication and Marketing Consultant

Traditions and people is a social enterprise working on projects to preserve culinary traditions, and rural heritage and promote community development through women empowerment, youth employment, respect, ownership and passion for excellence.

Traditions and People is looking for a consultant to work on social media posts, videos, and website management of the 14 social enterprises over 12 months. The consultant is responsible to set & implement  the overall communication strategy, and promoting the image; and the organisation's activities for 14 projects across Lebanon created under AHLAN program in hospitality sector ( Shop, mouneh , guest house , farm . restaurants ) 

  • Branding production: Brochures, Banners, posters (every item produced under project funds), curriculums printing
  • Event Organization
  • Video Production 
  • Training materials and visibility
  • Social Media Management for 12 months, with 12 pcs of content per month including captions, post design, video editing, subtitling, animated text, in line with our initial strategy
  • Community management of the Ahlan pages for 12 months
  • Website management. Update information and photos of current Ahlan projects and include the new projects when ready.
  • Photography and Videography support including 1 visit per year for previously opened outlets, and 3 visits for new ones (pre / opening / post)
  • Boosting budget per month to promote select pieces of content
  • New outlet promotional tools: Postcard, signage, promotions
  • Capacity Building Workshop: Marketing and Communication Training (Photography, videography, social media management, online presence, community management) conducted once at SET premises

Key Qualifications

Education

University Degree in marketing, communications, social media

-Legal requirement: A candidate must possess a fiscal number to receive payment for an official invoice.

Skills & Competencies

· Fluency in Arabic and English, French is a plus

· Design software(adobe in-design, or affinity platforms)

· Communication across all social platforms

· Excellent writing skills (English)

· Project management
