1. Program Implementation:
- Oversee the day-to-day implementation of the MAKANI program, ensuring alignment with established principles and standards.
- Coordinate with local partners, including the Ministry of Social Development, non-governmental organizations, and community-based organizations, to facilitate program activities.
2. Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical expertise in the areas of livelihood, child protection, and youth engagement to ensure the effective delivery of integrated services.
- Collaborate with program partners to design and implement skills-building programs, community-based child protection initiatives, and learning support services.
- Provide support to the education officers regarding education technical part as needed per program activities (i.e. teachers training needs, students’ participation, Class management, parent/community involvement in education, technical plans, etc..)
- Provide support to all officers under MAKANI project as needed and requested by the program manager.
- Work closely with the Education teams on future youth skills programming, informing project design and implementation based on gathered evidence.
3. Curriculum Development:
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the core curriculum for MAKANI centers, focusing on learning support services, education, life skills, and community-based child protection.

5. Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Implement and monitor program activities, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and tracking progress against established goals.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
6. Capacity Building:
- Provide training and capacity-building support to MAKANI center personnel, and volunteers.
- Enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of frontline employees to better respond to the needs of children.
7. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of program activities and beneficiaries.
- Prepare regular reports on program implementation, achievements, and challenges, with the support of the MSCC project Coordinator.
