Graphic Designer Intern

Ana Aqra is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join our team on either an internship or freelance basis. The Graphic Designer will work closely with our Communications Consultant to produce visually appealing and effective design solutions across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with the Communications Consultant.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Communications Consultant to understand project requirements and objectives.

2. Develop creative concepts, designs, and layouts for various print and digital materials including but not limited to brochures, flyers, social media graphics, presentations, and website elements.

3. Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate the intended message(s).

4. Rehearse designs based on feedback from the Communications Consultant and other stakeholders.

5. Coordinate closely with the Communications Consultant to ensure timely delivery of design assets and meet project deadlines.

6. Stay updated on design trends, techniques, and software to continuously improve design quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, either through internships, freelance work, or previous employment.

2. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
3. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects across different mediums.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the Communications Consultant and other team members.

5. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

6. Ability to adapt design styles to suit various communication mediums and target demographics, ensuring maximum impact and engagement.

7. Proficiency in creating graphics optimized for different digital platforms, including social media channels, websites, and email campaigns.

8. Experience with print production processes, including file preparation and understanding of color management, to ensure accurate reproduction of designs.

9. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing files, assets, and project documentation to facilitate smooth collaboration and efficient workflows.

10. Willingness to contribute ideas and insights during brainstorming sessions and team meetings, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

11. Flexibility to accommodate shifting priorities and evolving project requirements while maintaining a positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
