Call for Expert: Organizational Capacity Assessment

Basmeh & Zeitooneh is embarking on the second cycle of the Fostering Refugee Leadership Project (FRL) in Lebanon. The aim is to empower Refugees-Led Organizations (RLOs), Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to take charge of their community's future by identifying problems, needs, and implementing tailored solutions. We are seeking experienced individuals or registered companies to conduct organizational capacity assessments using our OCA tool.

Project Overview:

The FRL Project aims to achieve the following objectives:

• Support 40 RLOs, CBOs, and CSOs through capacity strengthening programs.
• Provide small grants to 15 initiatives for community interventions.

Responsibilities of Experts:

• Conducting organizational capacity assessments for 40 RLOs, CBOs, and CSOs.
• Analyzing capacity needs and designing appropriate training methods.
• Providing written recommendations and performance indicators.
• Ensuring proper documentation and data management.
• Producing organizational needs assessment reports.

Requirements:

• Higher education and experience in organizational capacity assessment.
• Advanced proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Previous experience in similar projects targeting RLOs, CSOs, and CBOs.
• Ability to complete tasks physically within 60 days.

Duration and Timing:

• Pre-assessment to be conducted in March 2024.
• Post-assessment to be conducted in September/October 2024.

Deliverables:

• Detailed Work Plan.
• Completed OCA tool for 40 organizations.
• Pre and post reports for each organization.
• Final report with recommendations.
• Analysis report comparing pre and post assessment results.
