Shelter Water Sanitation and Hygiene Technician - North

The Opportunity

Save the Children Lebanon is implementing a large and varied Shelter and WASH program to meet the needs of the refugees and host communities in Lebanon.

The Shelter and WASH Technician will play an essential role within the North Area Office, working closely with the Shelter and WASH Officer. This position focuses on the technical aspects of emergency shelter, WASH, and reconstruction activities while ensuring the quality of the program in northern Lebanon.

In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

In order to be successful you will bring/have:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the construction sector.
• Experience in field work and community mobilization.
• Experience in conducting training and sensitization sessions for communities and beneficiaries.
• Computer skills (especially Excel).
• Strength in interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
