Focal Point/Coach

LOST is seeking to recruit a Focal Point /Coach to assist "Effective Assistance to Support Educational Development /EASED" Project Team in Hermel.

Job Description:

  • Monitor RS class attendance and progress of implementation of the activities.
  • prepare the online and offline documents of students in the targeted schools such as attendance sheets and class control.
  • Monitor the regular absentees and observe attendance patterns and establish constant regular communication with them.
  • Collect and keep all documents of the projects and submit them to the project management after coordinating with the MEAL officer.
  • Conduct life skills training for the targeted students, to address specific life skills, such as communication, problem-solving, decision-making...
  • Organize and lead on summer camps for the targeted beneficiaries.
  • Report activities, student’s progress, and events.
  • Implement the educational plan organized by the education officer.
  • Address behavioral or social issues that may be affecting students' ability to remain in school and refer them to the suitable services needed.
  • Oversee creation of beneficiary file and educational cv
  • Liaise with caregivers to tackle educational and logistical challenges for child education
  • Refer cases in need of CP focus or other forms of support intervention

Experience and Technical Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in social science or any other related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the related field
  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English is mandatory.
  • Flexibility, commitment, work ethics and team spirit
