Within the framework of the "Nadoum Program", DAA is looking for a consultant to conduct a 2 full day workshop aims to train a group of key populations (KPs) and build their capacities in order to initiate community – led interventions based on the needs of each KP group. The participants will gain knowledge of proposals identification, defining desired change, setting objectives, identifying target groups, planning activities, allocating necessary resources, budgeting, and branding, necessary to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to develop a comprehensive and effective action plan.
This activity is a continuation of last year’s training, with the same target group of KPs and civil society organizations, where the outcome was a position statement on “integrating the needs of the most vulnerable groups into the crisis response plans in Lebanon”.
The consultant will:
- Meet with DAA to further understand the Terms of Reference (ToR), including clarifying any questions, discussing expectations, and confirming the scope of work.
- Prepare the workshop materials (powerpoint presentations, handouts, pre and post-tests, any other relevant materials)
- Deliver the two day training to the participants on proposals identification, defining desired change, setting objectives, identifying target groups, planning activities, allocating necessary resources, budgeting, and branding, necessary to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to develop a comprehensive and effective action plan
- To follow up on the prepared action plans
- To issue the final report

Experience:
The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in advocacy, policy analysis, or public health programming, with a focus on vulnerability or related fields. This experience should also include:
- Consulting Experience: Demonstrated expertise in developing advocacy strategies and action plans, conducting stakeholder engagement, and facilitating capacity-building activities.
- Advanced-level proficiency in both English and Arabic for effective written and oral communication.
- Experience in addressing gender-related issues within program design and implementation is highly desirable.
