Job Announcement:
Terre des hommes- Lausanne is seeking an Admin, Finance & Partnership Assistant for its Beirut office for a period of 2 months.
The Admin, Finance & Partnership Assistant reports directly to Senior Partnership & Grant officer. The main objective of this position is to ensure efficient and accurate compliance and implementation of financial rules by partners, and follow up on partner’s accountancy.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties & Responsibilities / Context (Tasks) :
Accountancy:
- Ensures that partners’ financial procedures, policies and requirements are implemented in compliance with the applicable regulations of TDHL and donors.
- Reviews partners’ supporting documentation for all financial transactions data entry and reconciliation in the system.
- Ensures that work advances are accounted for in line with Tdh and donors‘ financial guidelines.
- Responsible for organizing and archiving files for partners by following several steps to ensure that all documents are properly stored, easily accessible, and that necessary supportive documents are scanned.
Partner Management:
- Audit & Control : Provide full support to the Senior partnership & and Grant Officer by reviewing partners’ supportive documents.
General Management:
- Provide clear information, feedback and support to the Senior Partnership & Grant Officer, raising issues as needed and working together to promote a strong team.
- Ensure clear positive communication with all TDH team members.
- Maintain an organized style of work.
Job qualifications, and competencies
Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, major in Accounting or Finance is referred.
Experience: experience not required, however earlier internships or up to 1 year’ experience are of added value.
Others personal abilities:
- Fluency in English and Arabic are mandatory.
- Time management skills, ability to meet deadlines, prioritization of tasks.
- Very good communication skills.
- People oriented.
- Flexibility and strong adaptation skills.
- Computer literacy: Microsoft office.
Reports to: Senior Partnership & Grants Officer
Location: Beirut Office
