Translator Internship

1. Background:

NO2TA the feminist Lab is a MENA laboratory in the process of reinventing our societies and our gender roles in it.

NO2TA’s main objectives are Promoting Feminist media as an alternative counter hegemonic media, amplifying intersectional feminist voices, mobilizing women and key feminist actors to take individual and collective political and social actions and Ensuring a gender sensitive proactive and reactive media coverage to feminist issues in the MENA region.

3. Main Responsibility & Requirements:

• Receives text or content in a variety of formats in English and translates documentation in a clear and concise style to Arabic using defined processes and tools to ensure accuracy and consistency of work.
• Prepare subtitles for videos and online designs.
• Translating Content & reports.

• Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines necessary.
• Team player - online communication with the team on a daily basis.
• Highly developed attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure.
