- Supervise the full program management cycle, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Ensure timely and compliant administration of all activities.
- Work closely with technical and field teams to meet program objectives.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess program quality, monitor progress, and address challenges through collective problem-solving with staff and stakeholders.
- Ensure community participation in the program, fostering a supportive environment for feedback and involvement.
- Track and manage the program budget, ensuring all expenditures align with the financial plan.
- Directly manage and support a team, including setting objectives, monitoring activities, and providing training.
- Keep close communication with partner organization and update on activities.
- Provide regular reports to Head of Programs on project implementation.
- Ensure proper reporting of monthly execution figures and narratives on internal, partner/donor tools.
- Represent NABAD as requested and delegated.
- Ensure external communication and NABAD’s representation in all relevant coordination meetings, forums, workshops, working groups…
- Ensure good communication and networking with relevant stakeholders, donors, sector focal points, local authorities….
HR management
- Identify new recruitment needs within team – define the job requirement for each position within team.
- Orient, assist and support team under supervision to ensure quality compliance and staff well-being.
- Identify capacity building requirements of team.
- Perform regular performance reviews for team under supervision.
- Manage and resolve potential conflict (internal or external) of team under supervision.
Logistics & other operational departments
- Close coordination with Logistics department – prepare procurement plans – issue and track PRs adhering to procurement plan – prepare associated ToRs or other relevant documents as needed.
- Close coordination with Finance department – preparation of financial forecasts – reviewing and approving financial reports…
- Ensure weekly movement plan of team is well communicated with the Safety & Security department – ensure team adheres by regulations and decisions of the latter.
- Develop external relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Close collaboration with local authorities across the whole project phase for information, approval & follow up purposes
- Interagency coordination: international and national NGOs working in WASH or other sectors, UN agencies, Municipalities Water Establishments…
- Ensure incoming and outgoing referrals through NABAD referrals channels are responded to.
- Coordinate with MEL department on monitoring and evaluation tools/activities.
- Close coordination with Program Development Manager for the development of new proposals.
- Close coordination with HR department related to recruitment needs, capacity building needs or any other relevant activities.
