SUMMARY OF KEY TASKS

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software, network maintenance, and industry trends. his / her role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks, Engaging with employees throughout the company.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Install, configure, and support workstation software, hardware, printers, and phones.
• Train employees in using software, hardware and provide technical support when needed.
• Analyze staff needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist with daily operations, from maintenance to installation of computer and communication systems.
• Implement applications and software upgrades and troubleshoot any performance and technical issues.
• Manage and maintain the inventory of IT equipment, ensuring accurate records, optimal
• utilization, and timely maintenance or replacement.
• Other relevant tasks as directed by the IT Manager.

COMPETENCIES

• High-level knowledge of commonly used software, hardware, and applications.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong understanding of PC hardware setup and configuration.
• Have basic knowledge of hardware and networking.
• Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in Python.
• Have basic knowledge of Fortigate firewalls.
• Have basic knowledge of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Endpoint Detection and Response System (EDRS).
