The UNICEF-funded “Dirasa Program" & “Makani Program”, aims to create for out-of-school children, multiple pathways that are flexible and responsive to each child’s unique learning needs. The program will be implemented in private /semi-private schools, community centers and is estimated to target out of school children and Retention support for students who are already enrolled in schools.
Scope:
The role of the M&E Assistant is to support the development of M&E tools, timely indicator reporting, data cleaning, and report finalization. Assist in research, school visits, data analysis, and other tasks as required.
Main Responsibilities
Assist in the development of M&E tools and systems.
Assist in MERL officer in the reporting on the indicators in timely manner.
Assist in data cleaning.
Assist in the finalization of quarterly and annual reports.
Assist in designing and conducting research.
Assist in the schools’ visits across all areas in the country as frequently as needed and document to show evidence/progress of implementation, and challenges.
Assist the various program teams in data analysis.
• Perform additional tasks as needed and requested
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences and/or Statistics or relevant degree.
• Excellent Arabic language skills (Reading /Writing) and foreign language skills French or English
• Excellent computer skills (outlook, excel, word, PowerPoint, video conferencing and online learning platforms).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Assess challenges and make advised decisions.
• Commitment to work under pressure and to deliver within timelines.
• Capacity to prioritize and good planning skills.
• Capacity to work with different groups of people.
• Capacity to report with evidence on indicators.
