Climate Change Worker

  • Policy and Strategy Development: Develop climate change strategies that prioritize women’s empowerment, ensuring that policies are inclusive and gender responsive.
  • Project Implementation: Design and manage climate resilience projects that empower women, including sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and climate education initiatives.
  • Research and Advocacy: Research the intersections of gender and climate change, producing reports that highlight the unique challenges and opportunities for women. Advocate for policies that support women’s leadership in climate action.
  • Capacity Building: Deliver training and workshops to project participants and community leaders on sustainable practices, climate resilience, and environmental stewardship.
  • Community Engagement: Work closely with women’s groups, community organizations, and local leaders to promote climate awareness and action, ensuring that project participants are central to community climate resilience efforts.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Track the effectiveness of climate initiatives, focusing on the empowerment and participation of women. Collect data and provide feedback to continuously improve the integration of gender considerations in climate projects.

Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with NGOs, government agencies, and private sector partners to support women-led climate initiatives and secure funding for sustainability projects.
