Experienced Drama Therapist

**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Drama Therapist to work in collaboration with Restart Center, providing therapeutic services within detention facilities. The ideal candidate will utilize drama and theatre techniques to promote mental health and personal growth among detainees, offering creative outlets to help them process their experiences and emotions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Conduct group drama therapy sessions.
• Develop and implement tailored therapeutic programs to meet the unique needs of detainees.
• Collaborate with Restart Center’s multidisciplinary team, including medical and mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and track detainees' progress.

**Qualifications:**

• Master's degree in Drama Therapy or

• Master’s degree in clinical psychology with Certification or licensure as a Drama Therapist.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a therapeutic setting, preferably in detention settings
• Strong understanding of the psychological impacts of detention and trauma.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
