Gender Researcher Intern - 1MORECUP (Beirut)

About the Position:

1MORECUP is seeking a passionate and motivated Gender Researcher Intern to support our "UNiTE-Diversity: Let's Dig a Little Deeper to End GBV" project. This internship offers a unique opportunity for young individuals to gain hands-on experience in gender-based research while contributing to efforts addressing gender-based violence (GBV) in Lebanon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting literature reviews on GBV and gender equality issues in Lebanon
• Support data collection and analysis for ongoing research projects
• Help in preparing research briefs and reports
• Assist in organizing and participating in research-related events and discussions

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, or related field
• Strong interest in gender issues, human rights, and social justice
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English; French is a plus
• Familiarity with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•

This is an unpaid internship position, but it offers valuable experience and networking opportunities in the field of gender equality and social justice - Transportation are covered
