Data Collector- Health Sector

Purpose: Provide an objective assessment of a health project’s implementation, ensuring that reported results are accurate, compliance standards are met, and beneficiaries' satisfaction is gauged. The assignment aims to identify any weaknesses in the project's implementation process, offer recommendations for improvement, and highlight the program's achievements. This will involve monitoring the performance of Primary Health Care Centers (PHCCs), assessing the effectiveness of service delivery, and ensuring that community outreach efforts are successful.

Enumerator Responsibilities:

  1. Visits to Primary Health Care Centers (PHCCs):
    • Conduct regular visits to assigned PHCCs, with an estimated 6 visits per center during the 8-month contract period.
    • Pre-schedule visits with the PHCC director and complete a 45-minute questionnaire with different staff members at the PHCC.
  2. Data Collection and Reporting:
    • Gather data on the effectiveness of the health project using a pre-defined questionnaire.
    • Verify service delivery outcomes and assess community outreach activities.
    • Monitor the usage and efficiency of digital tools and reporting systems at the PHCCs.
    • Ensure quality assurance and contribute to capacity building within the health facilities.
  3. Conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGDs):
    • Organize and conduct FGDs with different community profiles across all governorates (except where security issues prevent access).
    • Collaborate in selecting participants based on lists provided to you.
    • Develop and follow a guiding set of questions for each FGD, focusing on beneficiaries’ satisfaction and other key project outcomes.
  4. Reporting:
    • Submit monthly reports summarizing the findings from visits and FGDs.
    • Compile a final report at the end of the contract, summarizing all findings and providing recommendations for project improvements.
  5. Training:
    • Participate in training sessions provided on the data collection process and the use of questionnaires.

Required Qualifications:

  • Background or experience in health-related fields such as nursing, midwifery, public health, or medical studies.
  • Previous experience in health administration or public health projects is preferred.
