In charge of the implementation of the community-based approach program in the region
Responsibilities And Obligations:
- Program implementation:
- Ensure the implementation of the community-based approach in her/his region
- Act as a main focal point for the social and behavioral change approach.
- Recruit and train several volunteers to become active agents of prevention in their community
- Prepare, implement and monitor the work of the volunteers’ community-based activities and events addressed to children and caregivers
- Coordinate with the Team Leader and the Area Manager regarding the work
- Monitor and coach the volunteers
- Attend all capacity building sessions provided for the prevention team
- Report on qualitative and quantitative data
- Evaluate the work periodically with the Team Leader
- Detect the cases of abuse and refer them to the Team Leader
- Provide visibility material for himaya.
- Conduct awareness activities for the children and their caregivers
- Organize and implement with the team event based on the program action plan.
- Ensure that all folders are up to date based on the QMS policies and procedures
- Coordinate and advocate with main stakeholders and community leaders
- Help the Team Leader and Area Manager to open new contacts in his/her region
- Coordinate and follow-up on the ongoing community-based activities with the relevant partners.
- Attend meetings when necessary
- Act as a main focal point for the community mobilization
- Develop a community network (form different stakeholders) to implement the community-based approach
- Fully support regional manager and HQ in any task requested.
- Availability for any urgent/ problematic issues faced by any employee in the working hours or after work for next day plan.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of himaya by effectively communicating information about its activities, projects, mission, values, and history.
- Adhere to the mission and values of himaya by adopting and conveying its core values and concepts in both personal and professional contexts.
- Participate in all activities and events organized by himaya (e.g., staff care, end-of-year gatherings).
- Respect the Code of Conduct, the Child Protection Safeguarding Policy, the PSEAH Policy, and all internal regulations.
