General Practitioner (Consultant)

1. Providing primary healthcare services in the Mobile Medical Clinic.
2. Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, prescribing appropriate medications, and making lifestyle modifications for long-term or remote care.
3. Guiding patients on health management, providing advice and awareness on psychological and social factors that impact their health, as well as necessary vaccinations.
4. Ordering necessary basic laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures within their authority, and analyzing the results to determine the nature of disorders or diseases.
5. Referring patients in need of advanced specialized diagnoses to a specialist physician, another hospital, or rehabilitation centers for further tests and accurate diagnosis.
6. Administering first aid procedures to patients.

7. Diagnosing and treating common childhood diseases, monitoring patients, and identifying any diseases that affect the mental and physical development of children, and referring when necessary. 

8. Responsible for accurately documenting patient information, including necessary laboratory tests, requested imaging, adding results, any required procedures, diagnosis, prescribed medications, vital signs, adding or modifying patient history, referrals to other physicians within the same center, while maintaining confidentiality of the information.
9. Supervising the work of the nurse and other medical staff under their responsibility, and guiding them towards appropriate medical procedures.

 

Required Bachelor's degree in general medicine

Resident doctors or specialists from any discipline are accepted.

Academic Background

A minimum of three years of practical experience working as a general physician is required, and it is preferable for candidates to have previous experience working in facilities affiliated with humanitarian organizations.

Arabic is required, and a satisfactory level of English is preferred.
