PSS Facilitators ( Bkhichtay / Baaqline)

The Psychosocial Support Facilitator is directly responsible for the implementation of psychosocial support activities to children and caregivers. He has the knowledge and practical skills to carry out focused psychosocial support activities with youth and parents in the targeted areas.

Duties and responsibilities

• The PSS Facilitator Officer will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct recreational and psychosocial support (PSS) activities for youth.

• Organize sensitization sessions and events for youth in a participatory and empowering manner.

• Ensure safe identification and referral of at-risk cases in line with program strategy and national guidelines, respecting confidentiality and informed consent.

• Adhere to proper data collection procedures, ensuring all relevant forms and formats are accurately completed and submitted to the designated person.

• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of all materials and venues.

Qualifications, Experience & Language

Academic and Professional:

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or other relevant degree.
Experience:

At least two years of professional experience in  carry out focused psychosocial support activities with youth and parents in the targeted areas.
Language

            Proficient in Arabic and English. French is a plus

5. Ability to communicate with vulnerable populations.
6. Advanced knowledge in psychosocial / psychological interventions (Child protection, Sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), art therapy and other activities)
