1 – Ruwwad Al Tanmeya Organization Overview

Ruwwad Al-Tanmeya is a regional non-profit community development organization that works with disenfranchised communities through education, youth volunteerism and grassroots organizing. Our approach encompasses an array of programs and projects that, together, strengthen initiative and facilitate redress to problems prioritized by members of the community. Three main programs anchor Ruwwad: Child Development, Youth Organizing and Community Support. Three basic values shape every program or activity at Ruwwad Al-Tanmeya: secularism, diversity, and equity.

2 – Brief description of ‘Now you Know’project

The project aims to provide humanitarian aid to vulnerable communities in Lebanon, especially families displaced from southern Lebanon who are now sheltering in schools in Tripoli.

3 – Operational Objective:

Ruwwad is looking for suppliers/blanket factories which are able to provide the following:

• 800 Thermal Blanket (Thick - Size 160*220)

Note: The selected supplier must be responsible for the delivery of blankets to various locations/schools in Tripoli, as per the schedule to be established by Ruwwad Al Tanmeya. Please note that Ruwwad reserves the right to select multiple suppliers to ensure the best quality and price combination, allowing us to address the needs of IDPs as swiftly and effectively as possible

4 – The quotation must include:

• Same requested specification
• The number of the registration in the ministry of finance (if existing)
• VAT
• Prices in USD
• Delivery period

5 – Bidders must send:

All Bidders are required to send the below requirements to omar.shammo@ruwwadaltanmeya.org copying reem@ruwwadaltanmeya.org . “a hard copy of the requirements listed below must be sent to Ruwwad Al Tanmeya in a sealed envelope”

• The quotation should be (signed/Stamped).
• Certificate of the registration in the ministry of finance (الشهاد المالية).
• The invitation to bid should be sent (singed & stamped).

6 – Payment Terms:

• Bank Letter or bank transfer.
• Bank fess to be deducted from the supplier’s account
• The total amount will be divided into installments, without requiring a down payment.

7 – Questions/ Request for clarification

8 – Timeframe

• Quotations and the requested papers should be submitted 5 working days after the day of posting this tender.

9 – Important

Kindly note that the quotation will be automatically rejected if

• The bidder doesn’t send all the requested papers (mentioned in number 5).
• The quotation doesn’t include the requirements (mentioned in number 4).
• The quotation is received after the deadline.

Suppliers must send a sample of the blanket within 5 working days, before reaching the bidders selection phase.
