The Junior Graphic Designer will assist in the creation of visual content that meets the needs of various departments within the organization. This role will involve designing graphics for digital and print media, supporting the marketing team with campaign visuals, and contributing to the overall creative process.
Scope of Work
The Food Heritage Foundation (FHF) is seeking the services of a Graphic Designer who is passionate about design, eager to learn, and ready to contribute his or her creativity to our diverse range of projects and initiatives . He/she will provide all necessary activities similar but not limited to the ones mentioned below:
- Creating and editing engaging and visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and multimedia content to support marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Designing visual content for various platforms including social media posts, website graphics, promotional materials, and presentations.
- Ensuring consistency in branding and messaging across all visual materials and social media platforms.
- Participating in brainstorming sessions and offering creative input on marketing and branding projects.
- Organize and manage digital assets, including maintaining an up-to-date archive of all creative work.
Essential Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in graphic design, either through internships, freelance work, or employment. Experience within an NGO is a plus.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong creative and conceptual skills with the ability to translate ideas into visually appealing designs.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow design guidelines and brand standards.
- Basic understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and take constructive feedback from supervisors and incorporate them into design revisions.
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of graphic design through hands-on experience and mentorship.
- Excellent knowledge of Arabic and English.
Period
6 months from November 2024 to April 2025 with the possibility of renewal based on performance and availability of funds.
