Request for Proposal – Purchasing of Portable Ultrasounds

RFQ - 04055

1 – Overview:

Amel Association International (Amel) is a Lebanese and non-sectarian NGO created in 1979. Amel works through 30 centers, 6 mobile medical units, 2 mobile education units and 1 protection unit, and for more than 40 years has supported the poorest regions of Lebanon, from Beirut and its South Suburbs to Mount Lebanon, Bekaa and South Lebanon. Amel offers accessible services for all in the following fields: food security, health, education, protection, child protection, gender-based violence, livelihood, promotion and protection of human rights, rural development

2 – Scope of work:

Amel is looking for suppliers which are able to provide the following:

• 4 Portable Ultrasounds, rechargeable, built in rechargeable battery (at least 180 min operation time), 3D, with 3 probes: transvaginal, cardiac, and convex, with printer

Note: The selected supplier must be responsible for the delivery of Ultrasound within maximum of 5 5ays from the day of selection. Please note that Ruwwad reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of ordered machines.

3 – The quotation must include:

• Same requested specification
• The number of the registration in the ministry of finance (if existing)
• VAT
• Prices in USD
• Warranty Period
• Delivery period
• Validity of the Quotation 

4 – Required Documents:

All Bidders are required to send the below requirements procurementdpt@amel.org with the subject “RFQ – 04055 – Portable Ultrasounds” copying procurement@amel.org and procurementfieldt@amel.org :

• A signed and stamped quotation.
• Certificate of the registration in the ministry of finance (الشهاد المالية). and all realted legal papers including owner ID.
• Copy of the specs and data sheet of the offered machine

5 – Payment Terms:

• Bank transfer.

6 – Questions/ Request for clarification

Any requests for clarification may be submitted by email to procurementdpt@amel.org or via WhatsApp on this number 03-783083.

7 – Timeframe

• Quotations and the requested papers should be submitted 5 working days after the day of posting this tender.

8 – Important

Kindly note that the quotation will be automatically rejected if

• The bidder doesn’t send all the requested papers (mentioned in number 4).
• The quotation doesn’t include the requirements (mentioned in number 2).
• The quotation is received after the deadline.
