Project Coordinator

Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Project Coordinator to support our program implemented by Shift, funded by IRC through PRM. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing a team of social workers and legal officers while ensuring the effective implementation of our Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and Legal objectives. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, including education coordinators and community partners, to provide comprehensive support to families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support team members, ensuring effective performance and professional development.
  • Organize regular meetings with the project's staff to ensure the correct implementation of the program according to the working plan.
  • Follow up on project targets related to MHPSS and Legal objectives, ensuring alignment with program goals and timelines.
  • Collaborate with the Education Coordinator to link parents and caregivers to MHPSS and legal services, ensuring accessibility and understanding of available resources.
  • Manage and follow up on payments for service providers, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and financial guidelines.
  • Develop and implement plans for MHPSS and legal activities, aligning with project objectives and community needs.
  • Coordinate with other actors, including local organizations and community members, to enhance collaboration and resource sharing.
  • Regularly visit centers in Akkar and Tripoli to oversee operations, engage with beneficiaries, and ensure the quality of services provided.
  • Prepare progress reports detailing project activities, achievements, and challenges related to MHPSS and Legal services.
  • Developing proper archiving system for project-related reporting and correspondence
  • Assist in recruitment of consultants as needed by the project.
  • Providing technical and administrative guidance and support to all project team members and stakeholders.
  • Attend working group and task force meetings on a local level, when needed.
  • Additional tasks as required by project or department.

  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
